About Stephanie:
Raintree Consulting is owned and operated by Stephanie Hatten MEd., RCC., CCC and is based in the heart of the Fraser Valley at the Whatcom Exit, Abbotsford, British Columbia.
Stephanie was born in the UK and is a Third Culture Kid, having lived overseas with her parents in various places before emigrating to Canada with her family in 1983. She has three grown children attending university. Stephanie has a diverse background. Her 25 year career span includes being a private clinician and also working in schools and community settings. She has devoted many community hours to volunteering as a crisis line worker and for the Abbotsford Police Victims' Services program. During her adult years, she has lived and worked in the UK, Canada and the Middle East.
Stephanie attained her Masters of Education in Counselling Psychology from Simon Fraser University in Burnaby, BC., Canada and is registered with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors and the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapist Association and has been in the helping field for many years and working clinically since 2004.
Stephanie's practice is based on the belief that clients need a confidential, supportive environment to gain self awareness and to work through life's transitions and challenges. Therefore, she is dedicated to providing a client centred counselling service with your goals and needs in mind.
